The NHS contributory pension scheme is for all staff. There are also a number of flexible retirement options available to staff wishing to plan for their retirement along with a pre-retirement course.

We provide childcare seminars and information for all staff. Staff also have the ability to purchase childcare vouchers and the Trust has negotiated a number of discounted nursery places for NHS staff. The city of Wolverhampton has a wealth of childcare provision including pre-school, aftercare, holiday schemes and teenage holiday activities.
- Carers, Maternity and Paternity
There are a range of carers leave options for all staff if required.
- Annual Leave
Due to Agenda for Change, all staff are entitled to a minimum of 27 days paid annual leave and 8 bank holidays (pro-rata for part time staff). The Trust also provides the option to purchase up to a further two weeks annual leave for all staff.
- Occupational Health
There is an Occupational Health Service providing free health checks, smoking cessation support, counselling, stress management, etc.
- Training and Development
The Trust has a strong appraisal system, utilising the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) and actively encourages the training and development of staff, regularly producing a training newsletter outlining courses available. The Beeches Training and Development Centre based at Penn Hospital runs a range of in-house training sessions covering a variety of clinical and non-clinical disciplines.
- Partnership and Staff Involvement
Employee Relations within the Trust are excellent, with the Trust having a staff involvement and partnership philosophy, not just a policy.
