Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

PALS is here to help

PALS is a support service for patients, relatives and their carers. It provides on-the-spot advice, information and guidance on using health services. The service listens to concerns and queries regarding health services and resolves them on your behalf. They also provide information on how to make a formal complaint and the opportunity to tell us about your experiences of our services both good and bad.

Locations where the service is provided
Information and advice is usually provided via the telephone, but face to face appointments can be booked at health centres across the city, please contact us for more details (see below).

When is the service available?
You can contact PALS Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
There is an answerphone for you to leave a message at any other time with a two working day response.

PALS also provides information on other patient and public engagement activities within the PCT.

They also provide information about the Expert Patient Programme.

PALS is able to do presentations and talks to support groups – please contact us for more details.
