Amputee Rehabilitation Service
This specialist service offers multidisciplinary rehabilitation to people with lower limb amputations including assessment for and, where appropriate, the provision, manufacture and maintenance of artificial limbs.
How to access the service
Any client within any of the West Midlands PCTs with lower limb loss/absence can be referred to this service.
For new amputees referral to the service will usually be made via the surgical team. For existing amputees (e.g. people moving into the area) direct self referral to the service can be made.
Locations where the service is provided
The service is provided at Maltings Mobility Centre (address below) and visiting clinics are held at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford; Walsall Manor Hospital, Walsall and Russell’s Hall Hospital, Dudley

When is the service available?
The service is available Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 4pm and Friday 8.15am to 3.30pm.
Visiting clinics are held at the following times and venues:
Princess Royal Hospital, Telford - Monday pm
Walsall Manor Hospital, Walsall – Tuesday pm
Russell’s Hall Hospital, Dudley - Wednesday am
