World Class Commissioning (WCC)
World class commissioning was a programme designed to assist PCTs in transforming the way services are commissioned, leading to improved health outcomes and reduction in health inequalities, adding life to years and years to life. Programmes were undertaken in 2008 and 2010 to provide assurance of Wolverhampton City PCT's development towards World Class Commissioning. Further information on this process can be found on the Department of Health website and local arrangements can be found within the PCT Board Reports.
