Specialist Smoking in Pregnancy Service
Protecting babies from tobacco smoke in pregnancy and childhood really helps them get a healthier start in life.
The Wolverhampton Stop Smoking Service offers specialist advice to pregnant woman and their families. Home visits can be arranged or just pop in to one of our ‘drop in’ sessions throughout the town.

Smoke Free Homes
The Smoke free Homes initiative has been launched to try to reduce young children’s exposure to tobacco smoke in the home environment. It hopes to achieve this by:
- Raising the public’s awareness of the health risks of smoking around children.
- Encourage adults (not only parents, but also friends, carers and other relatives) who smoke around children to change their behaviour.
